Graphic Designer

Full Time – Manchester (hybrid)

What you can expect

Creative Assessment Group UK is looking for a visionary Graphic Designer to join our creative powerhouse. We’re searching for a high-caliber visual storyteller—someone who doesn’t just "make things look pretty" but understands how to use design to solve problems and create emotional resonance. If you are a proactive, detail-oriented creative who thrives in a collaborative environment, we want to see your portfolio.

Your responsibilities

  • Concept and execute high-impact visual identities, from logo systems to full brand style guides.

  • Ensure all design output aligns with the client’s core mission while pushing the boundaries of contemporary aesthetics.

  • Maintain absolute brand consistency across multiple platforms and mediums.

  • Design a wide array of assets including social media graphics, digital ad campaigns, and website UI components.

  • Collaborate with the web team to ensure static designs translate beautifully into interactive digital experiences.

  • Produce print-ready mechanicals for physical branding, signage, and high-end marketing collateral.

  • Participate in internal brainstorms, contributing fresh ideas that elevate our "Impactful Visual Stories" claim.

  • Translate complex briefs into clear, compelling visual narratives that drive results for our clients.

  • Present design concepts to stakeholders, articulating the strategic "why" behind your creative choices.

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising on quality.

  • Oversee the final output of assets, performing rigorous quality checks on typography, color accuracy, and layout.

  • Assist with "Marketing Admin" tasks, such as curating internal case studies and managing our digital asset library.

Your skill set

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or Junior Art Director (agency experience preferred).

  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign are essential; After Effects or Figma is a major plus).

  • Strong understanding of Typography & Grid Systems, with a keen eye for layout and hierarchy.

  • Proficiency in Digital & Print Production, knowing exactly how to prep files for any environment.

You’re the kind of person who:

  • Takes pride in the details, from kerning pairs to ensuring every hex code is on-brand.

  • Can be counted on to follow through on a vision, delivering consistent, dependable, and high-quality work.

  • Can juggle multiple priorities, moving seamlessly between a quick social post and a complex brand rollout.

  • Communicates clearly and tactfully, both when taking feedback and when presenting new concepts.

  • Is naturally curious, constantly looking at design trends, art history, and new tools to keep your work fresh.

  • Enjoys the collaborative process, seeing feedback not as a hurdle, but as a tool to sharpen the final product.

What we offer

  • A role with purpose in the creative and environmental tech sector.

  • Hybrid working, creative mentorship, and a seat at the table for major projects.

  • Educational Investment: Budget for design workshops, software subscriptions, and creative inspiration trips.

  • Competitive health benefits and regular "Design Jam" team events.
